When will I receive my card?
We recommend allowing three working days from placing your order for delivery with our standard 1st Class post.
Special delivery can be selected at the checkout if you wish to expedite your order.
Can I have wording printed inside my card?
At Five Dollar Shake we believe in the personal touch, so we don't print standard words or verses inside our cards.
If you'd like your own message printed, to save you time, or to enable delivery directly to the recipient, we'd be happy to arrange this - just be sure to include this information when placing your order.
I've changed the wording on my chosen card, but the image hasn't changed. Why is this?
Once we've received an order, our team will work to put your wording together with our illustrations. As each design and message is unique we do not use an automated system to display this as you type. If you'd like to approve the design before we go to print we can send you a copy of your artwork by email.
I'm looking for a 50th birthday card but the design I like is for a 40th - can this be changed?
A resounding YES! All wording, including ages can be altered. Just pop everything you'd like included in the text box provided, and remember, this is not an automated system so feel free to included comments/queries in this section.
I've seen a design I'd like to personalise but can't find it on your site - help!
We have an extensive range of designs available for personalisation and endeavour to update these regularly to provide you with plenty of choice. It may be that the design you'd like has been discontinued and therefore unavailable, or is part of an everyday range which, unfortunately cannot be personalised.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes, we deliver world-wide. You will have the opportunity to enter an internatinal delivery address and select the appropriate postage option at checkout.

Account and Payment
Do I need to create an account before I can purchase?
Yes you need an account to make purchases. Registering is easy, all we require is a username, password and some basic details to get started. Alternatively you can login with your facebook account.
What are the benefits of creating an account?
Once entered, your details will be stored in your account and you will not have to re enter them again for your next order.
What are my payment options?

Sage Pay is a secure online payment gateway to process your orders. For further information please view the Sage Pay website.
We also accept payment via PayPal's secure payment service.
What is a security code?
The Security Code (or CVV2 number) on your credit/debit card is a security measure we require for all transactions.
Since a CVV2 number is listed on your card, but is not stored anywhere else, the only way to know the correct CVV2 number is to physically have possession of the card itself.
Most credit/debit cards have the three digit CVV2 number on the back of the card, after the card number in the signature strip.
